Synopsis

A single woman living alone is in search of a companion, so she builds one, stuffing discarded nylon stockings until they take on the approximate shape of a human man. Using found audio from the dating app Hinge and images of actors projected onto the doll, Manakin asks whether the woman has ended her loneliness or compounded it.
