A Long Winter

1950s, Colorado: Mike lives and works with his brother and his parents high above an isolated mountain town. Recently returned from a stint away from home, Mike has a renewed appreciation for their provincial existence on the mountain. When his brother leaves for war, the veneer of peaceful family life rapidly fades, exposing a well of open secrets long kept from him. On the eve of winter’s first storm, the family fractures and tragedy strikes, but the harsh conditions keep the possibility for hope or healing at bay until the spring thaw.
