Banshee

  Peter Vass  |  Ireland

A mysterious comb acts as a conduit for the fearsome banshee, unleashing a series of deaths in a 19th century village. Shot on 35mm, this scare-filled film brings together folklore, family drama, and grief against the starkly beautiful backdrop of fog-filled rural Ireland.

This film screens as part of the After Dark: Siren Songs shorts program.
