In ¿Necesitas Ayuda?, Señora Concha faces the chaos of the Tijuana airport and debates if she wants the support of eager wheelchair attendant Jorge. A capybara lives his days with his close companion, a tangerine, as he’s continually questioned about his loneliness in Land of No Man. A world where gravity flows upward forms the setting for a young boy’s journey of memory and grief with his beloved grandfather in Saba. With handcrafted puppets and Mexican ceramics, Yugen explores a young girl’s commitment to saving her ailing sister. In an engrossing kinetic style, The Sky Was Candy colorfully depicts a day in the life of a child. A Little Death follows Death’s attempts to pass on their work to their sweet apprentice who may not be up to the task. A young boy whose head shines like the sun learns how the best friendships come from understanding in Eeny, Meeny, Miny, Moe! Tired of building a bed with his father, a young boy follows a fire-creature into a magical mushroom world in Fire in My Pocket.
