When middle-aged, sexually repressed Germán hears the strange whistling sound of a mysterious creature, he begins to crave his greatest aversion: penetration. Formally inventive and subversively queer, this film reimagines the Colombian legend of “El Silbón” as a delightfully handmade fantasy about family, self-discovery, and buttholes.
