Disability in Focus
The 62nd Chicago International Film Festival, in partnership with UIC, is showcasing disability-inclusive films. We are also hosting extended post-screening conversations to discuss representations of disability on screen. Our goals are to confront ableism, strengthen disability curriculum, and transform how disability is taught and understood.
Select screenings will be followed by in-depth panel discussions with filmmakers, actors, and subject experts.
