Margot is a medical intern at the most competitive ER in the country, but she’s clearly the weakest link. Unable to keep up with the job’s grueling pace, her colleagues’ cutthroat attitudes, and her boss’s astronomical expectations, she finds unlikely allies in multiple patients her own age complaining of high-pressure jobs and strange skin conditions. Before long, she, too, starts experiencing gruesome symptoms: a nasty rash, bloody sweat, and skin that peels off in strips. Discovering that her affliction might be fatal raises the stakes, and Margot finds herself caught in a near-impossible balancing act between adapting to her ruthless work environment and covertly uncovering the cause of her contagion.
Bursting with blood and boils, the feature film debut from Marion Le Coroller is a visceral body-horror coming-of-age for those newly entering the workforce.
