Venue: Music Box Theatre

The Music Box Theatre is a historic movie theater located in Chicago, Illinois. Built in 1929, it has been operating continuously as an art-house and repertory cinema since the early 1980s. The Chicago International Film Festival is proud to present our Opening Night screenings at the Music Box Theatre as well as co-presenting several screenings as part of the Music Box of Horrors series.

Public Transit, Parking & Accessibility

The Southport Brown Line Station is within 0.5 miles of the venue and is an accessible station with an elevator between street level and the platform. The #152 CTA bus stop is 0.2 miles from the theater. Southport is a metered parking street. Free street parking is available on and west of Ashland Ave and north of Irving Park.
