In a galaxy not too faraway (right down the street from Navy Pier), get ready for the most thrilling, laugh-out-loud-funny, controversial, high-octane, fun-for-the-whole-family, edge-of-your-seat, Oscar-nominated movie-event of the year—in stunning 3-D!? Or not. But whatever it is—and you won’t know until the lights come down—trust us, it’ll be worth it. And better yet, it’s FREE!

Our time-honored Surprise screening has featured films with stars such as Russell Crowe, Olivia Wilde, Heath Ledger, and Kevin Spacey. Who will it be this year? Daniel Craig? Samuel L. Jackson? Leonardio DiCaprio? Meryl Streep? Or the next “It”-actor and actress on their way to Academy Award glory? Chances are high you’ll be riveted to your seat and stay through the sweeping musical score to the climactic finale.

To experience this special one-time-only movie event, all you need to do is come to the Chicago International Film Festival’s home-base, the AMC River East this Sunday, starting at 7pm, and pick up a FREE ticket. There’s one catch: You must be wearing a Chicago International Film Festival T-shirt, sweatshirt or hoodie (all available for purchase at the AMC box office).
