In this endearing, oddball comedy, socially awkward Patrick works as a handyman on his parents’ naturist campsite, building furniture in his spare time. After one of his hammers goes missing, he embarks on a quest to retrieve it that takes him to the farthest corners of the clothing-optional camping grounds. When his emotionally unavailable father suddenly dies, the pursuit becomes an existential odyssey. An offbeat (and darkly funny) celebration of people’s peculiarities, and of letting go and being happy with who you are.
“The film is a portrait composed of painstakingly observed tiny details.”
