Synopsis

Malian musician Inna Modja take us on an epic journey along Africa’s Great Green Wall—an ambitious vision to grow an 8,000km “wall” of trees stretching across the entire continent to fight back against the runaway effects of the climate crisis, and the resultant rise in violent conflicts and mass migration. Traversing Senegal, Mali, Nigeria, Niger, and Ethiopia, this African Buena Vista Social Club reveals a parade of characters giving voice to a continent at a crossroads.
