Synopsis

Comedy and tragedy go hand-in-hand in this cleverly-executed social satire about an arrogant millionaire awaiting trial for investment fraud inside a Danish penitentiary. After he runs afoul of a gang of inmates, manipulative Markus opts to transfer to the isolation ward to live alongside the most extreme offenders. There, he quickly sizes up the guileless leader of the prison choir, setting the stage for an unconventional power struggle.
