Liza, The Fox-Fairy
(Liza, a rókatündér)

  •   Károly Ujj Mészáros
  •   Hungary

This whimsical black comedy, a smash hit in its native land, follows the exploits of Liza, a lonely 30-year-old singleton. Cursed by the ghost of a Japanese pop star, who causes the death of every man who comes into her life, Liza finds herself surrounded by an ever-increasing body count and the lead suspect in a homicide investigation. Can she lift the curse before it is too late? With faux-1960s Japanese pop songs in an Amelie-esque style, this musical fable is a catchy phantasmagoric charmer. Hungarian with subtitles.
