An Evening with Rachel Brosnahan

Rachel Brosnahan is the Emmy® Award-winning actress and producer best known for her leading role in the critically acclaimed Amazon Studios series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. With her starring turn in filmmaker Julia Hart’s feminist-minded thriller I’m Your Woman—screening as part of the Festival’s International Competition—she’s poised for further cinematic success, breaking new ground as a 1970s suburban housewife who finds herself on a perilous journey through the criminal underworld. On stage, Brosnahan made her Broadway debut in 2013 in The Big Knife opposite Bobby Cannavale, and she starred as Desdemona in Sam Gold’s off-Broadway production of Othello opposite Daniel Craig and David Oyelowo.

Join us for a special, in-depth conversation with this versatile performer (and Highland Park native) as we look back at the earliest days of her career: from her Emmy®-nominated breakout role as Rachel Posner in Netflix’s House of Cards, to her latest projects and the work she does behind-the-camera to bring dynamic, women-centric stories to the screen.
