CHICAGO, IL (October 19, 2012) - Grab an extra-large cup of your favorite soda, “shaken-not stirred,” and join Team Surprise Film in a triumphant sing-along at the barricades inside the AMC River East for the most precious FREE ticket in town, Monday October 22 at 8 p.m. Only you and a select few will have bragging rights as you Tweet, Facebook, FourSquare, Pinterest or even just plain talk to your friends or even the Queen of England and the President when the Chicago International Film Festival invites you to a free screening of…well, no one will know what they are seeing until the lights go down.
Like the Master of Suspense, the Festival has thrilled audiences for years with special surprise screenings of films starring the likes of Kevin Spacey, Jeremy Irons, Russell Crowe, Olivia Wilde and Heath Ledger. The tradition continues with another free advance presentation of a movie that will make you feel like a decadent Russian aristocrat who has fallen in love with a dark, handsome vampire.
The only way to get a ticket before Tom, Russell, Keira, Catherine, Daniel, or even Anne does is by wearing a Chicago International Film Festival shirt, sweatshirt or hoodie. So if you don't have one already, be sure to buy one at the AMC Festival box office.
The Surprise Events takes place Monday, October 2, 8 pm at the AMC River East 21 (322 E. Illinois St.)
Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity is reached.
