Film Synopsis:
Based on an inspiring
true story, Intouchables tells the tale of an unlikely
friendship between two men. Against the advice of his friends, wealthy
quadriplegic Philippe hires ex-con Driss to be his caregiver. The relationship
that develops heals each man in extraordinary ways as Philippe learns to live
outside the confines of his wheelchair and Driss learns to live outside the
confines of his past. Nominated for 11 Cesar Awards in 2012 (with Omar Sy's
Driss winning a Best Actor award), Intouchables is a touching,
hilarious story about second chances.
