Corporate, educational and online films are invited to participate in the 48th INTERCOM competition

CHICAGO - Want to share your corporate, educational or interactive message with the rest of the world? You still have time to do so by entering the 48th Annual INTERCOM Competition. Considered the stalwart champion of corporate communications and produced by the 48th Chicago International Film Festival, INTERCOM recognizes the incredible creativity found in corporate, branded, educational, and interactive multimedia films. Production submissions will be accepted in the following categories: Corporate Sponsored and Non-Theatrical Films, Educational Videos, Business Communications and Interactive Productions. Deadline for entries is August 31, 2012.

"INTERCOM provides businesses, corporations, educational and cultural institutions the opportunity to showcase their best work in a competitive environment. These non-theatrical films can be as wildly original as some of their theatrical counterparts. I am looking forward to what this year's entries have to offer," said Alex Kopecky, Competitions Coordinator.

Awards for the winning productions will be presented at Awards Night Ceremony of the 48th Chicago International Film Festival. Select winners from the competition will be screened in the “Best of INTERCOM” program as part of the Festival’s “Best of the Fest” programming. Last year’s top winners were Seed Audi-Visual Communication’s “SUVA - The Moment of Truth” and Random 42 Medical Animation’s “Osteoblasts and Osteoclasts.”
