There has never been a better time to celebrate the talent and dedication of the Chicago entertainment industry. Shows like Empire and Chicago P.D. and filmmakers like Joe Swanberg are reminding audiences of the cinematic quality of our city and introducing them to the talented artists who call Chicago home.

In honor of their work, the Chicago International Film Festival’s Junior Board is proudly presenting Now Playing: A Celebration of Chicago on Screen on Saturday, November 14 at 7PM at The Godfrey Hotel (127 W Huron St at LaSalle).

The evening will include live entertainment, cocktails, food and surprises!

General ticket: $75
VIP ticket (includes one-year Individual Film Festival membership and gift bag): $125

Tickets will not be mailed, ticket holders will be on guest list. Cocktail attire.

Proceeds from this winter fundraiser will support the year-round Education Program of Cinema/Chicago, the presenting organization of the Chicago International Film Festival and the evening will include cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, live entertainment and fun surprises. The Education Program has welcomed over 100,000 Chicago Public School students to theaters throughout the school year and during the Chicago International Film Festival to film screenings, exposing students to films from other cultures and in other languages.
