Junior Board Holds Successful Fundraiser

On Sat, Nov 14th our Junior Board held its first annual fundraiser at the Godfrey Hotel’s IO Urban RoofscapeOver one hundred guests enjoyed DJ Toddizza playing a mix of hip-hop and 80s classics, delicious appetizers provided by The Godfrey Hotel, and a silent auction with a range of items, including an all-expenses paid trip to New Orleans, premium Bulls tickets, and a ten-course-meal provided by Goose & Fox. The event raised thousands of dollars for our year-round Education Program, which welcomes 8,000 Chicago Public School students to free film screenings throughout the year.

Cinema/Chicago’s Junior Board presents events throughout the year, including a screening series and “Junior Board Night” during the Chicago International Film Festival. The Junior Board’s next event is a screening of Trading Places on Wed, Dec 16, 2015 at PUBLIC Hotel Chicago (1301 N State St, Chicago). Doors open at 6:00pm; film starts at 7:00pm.
